Peter studied economics and finance at Westminster College and obtained a J.D. from BYU Law in April 2020. He is a venture fund formation attorney at Gunderson Dettmer, the most active startup and venture capital law firm in the world.

He worked at UGF for over four years, first as an intern and ultimately as a senior associate. He led or worked on dozens of deals, including over thirty deals that resulted in UGF investments. Some of his favorite portfolio companies include Fastly, Simplus, Toast, Flexport, Carbon Lighthouse and Postmates.

Peter loved the thrill of working on deals and analyzing new companies and industries. He also loved the quality people he worked with at the firm, many of whom he remains in close contact with today. He plans to spend his career in venture capital, either representing fund managers as their attorney or as a venture capitalist himself one day.
