Juan was a student at the Olin School of Business at the University of San Diego and pursued a double major in Business Administration & Finance with a minor in Business Analytics. He obtained a 75% tuition academic scholarship at the University of San Diego and was a member Delta Sigma Pi, one of the largest co-ed professional business fraternities in the US. His skills focus on analyzing business models and financial metrics to make informed strategic decisions.

Prior to starting at UGF, he grew up in New Jersey but has lived most of his life in Lima, Peru. While living in Peru, Juan co-founded a digital marketing agency called Base Marketing US that specialized in helping small businesses in Kansas expand their userbase and establish a digital presence by outsourcing digital marketing production to Peru. He did this while studying Business Administration at Universidad del Pacífico where he was the Student Representative for the Department of Business Administration and Department of Humanities for over 2 years. Juan is passionate about finance, innovations and entrepreneurship, specifically in the areas of healthcare and technology.

Juan was heavily involved in 3 different non-profit organizations: TECHO, Bridges, and Minkando that aid children living in extreme poverty through educational and emotional intelligence activities as well as building houses for those affected by natural disasters.

When he’s not working, Juan loves surfing, skiing, playing soccer with friends, playing chess online, and creating music playlists on Spotify.
