Impassioned by entrepreneurship and innovation, his professional background includes time in wealth management, private equity, at Twitter, and with Toyroom, a startup that he co-founded and ultimately exited. Dane graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Diego in May 2019 with a dual degree in Finance and Real Estate, and moved up to San Francisco to return to Twitter. While at UGF, Dane focused on the consumer tech space, with some forays into B2B SaaS. Of the 19 deals that he pitched, 5 became portfolio investments.
