Parker grew up in Cache Valley, Utah, and is pursuing degrees in finance and economics at the Jon M Huntsman School of Business. Since starting in 2017, Parker has maintained a 4.0 GPA and was recognized as Seely-Hinckley scholar (full-tuition awarded to the top five students annually). He has also received the Huntsman, Lillywhite, Aggie Promise, and Utah Bank scholarships for academic excellence and collegiate engagement. Parker shares his passion for business and learning by working as an undergraduate teaching fellow for economics and leadership professors and by serving as the president of USU's Finance and Economics Club.

Parker has a passion for systematic problem-solving and is striving for a career in management consulting. During his studies, he has engaged in several internships in the non-profit, microfinance, and private equity sectors. While working in the private markets, he has spent time on deals ranging from marketing technology and non-profit fundraising to manufacturing and aircraft maintenance.

When not tied up with school or work, Parker loves mountain biking, skiing, and wake surfing; he is also an exceptional pianist of 15 years. Parker has a deep appreciation for the Japanese language and learned to speak while serving as a church volunteer before starting college.
