Born in Montreal from an English family, Lawrie is an undergraduate accounting and business student at San Diego State University. During his time with us, he was on the investment team for eight late-stage/pre-IPO deals and nine earlier-stage deals in fintech, healthcare, B2B SaaS, IT infrastructure, and consumer technology.

Lawrie also worked at the Firmament Group, where he helped the private equity investment team on deals in quantum computing and healthcare. Prior to this, he was an intern in private equity at Blueprint Equity and in public accounting at Deloitte.

Lawrie is interested in the digitization of existing industries and in what this re-iteration of existing infrastructure means for the world's economy long term.
