
Kristie Lam
Kristie is a third-year law student at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University with a focus on corporate law and emerging companies. She joined University Growth Fund after winning first place in UGF's 2019 Utah Venture Capital Case Competition, which took place over 7 weeks and involved 130 students from 4 universities.
Kristie also currently works for Cricut and a fintech water-trading start-up called Water Exchange and Transfer (WETx). At Cricut, she advises the company on international compliance issues, including marketing and packaging, by researching applicable international laws and collaborating with external international counsel. At WETx, her tasks include implementing operations technology and assisting the company in seeking funding.
Kristie speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluently as a result of her international upbringing. In her free time, Kristie enjoys traveling, hiking, baking, and spending time with friends.
