Drew Konopasek graduated with a Finance Degree from the University of Utah. Upon graduation, Drew joined Moelis & Company as an M&A generalist analyst during the summer. In addition to University Growth Fund, Drew worked at Cross Creek Advisors, a later stage/pre-IPO and fund of funds venture capital firm. Prior to UGF, Drew held internship positions in investment banking, venture capital and private equity at Moelis & Company, Peak Ventures and Cicero Partners, respectively. After graduating from University Growth Fund, Drew accepted a position as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company.

Drew enjoys analyzing market opportunities and the viability of business models and has had the opportunity to work on and lead deals in a variety of industries including on-demand services (staffing, delivery, lawn care), sales acceleration and big data during his tenure at UGF. In Drew's free time, he enjoys playing basketball, snow skiing, hiking, and reading books on investing.
