Kelton is a student at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. While completing his undergraduate degree in philosophy, Kelton worked in the door-to-door sales industry. He managed his own sales team and enjoyed helping others achieve success and reach their goals. During the Summer of 2019, Kelton worked as an honors program legal intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Salt Lake City Regional Office. In April of 2019, he was selected as one of twelve BYU law students to participate in the BYU Law Deals Academy. The students traveled to New York City and received formal training from partners and associates at Kirkland & Ellis LLP on negotiating leveraged buyouts and stock purchase agreements. Kelton loves the thrill of negotiating, thinking on his feet, and closing deals. He plans to pursue his JD/MBA degree from BYU and eventually end up in business or entrepreneurship. Kelton loves outdoor activities, reading books, and exercising. He was a wrestler in high school and loves racing dirt bikes.
